Registered Nurse Coordinator – CHF

Cardiology has an opening for a full time Nurse Coordinator for our Congestive Heart Failure
program. This position will assess the needs of CHF patients and newly created Congestive
Heart Failure program within the KU MAC office. This position will take the lead as we
continue building this program for our patients with heart failure. Currently, we have several
nurses who work with our CHF patients but in this new program, this position will devote
100% of their day to these patients and will not be aligned with physicians in clinic. She
and/or he will be coordinating the CHF clinics & triaging patients along with other clinical
team members and helping build and grow this program. A confidence in heart failure
knowledge along with the ability to assess and direct these patients will be very important in
this role. A compassionate and caring attitude toward these patients is also a must for this
